Senior Enterprise Web Architect (Contract Role) Remote – India | Contract Duration: 2–6 Months Experience Required: 15+ Years About the Role We are looking for an accomplished Senior Enterprise Web Architect with extensive experience across modern digital platforms and enterprise ecosystems. The ideal candidate will lead platform evaluations, architecture decisions, and solution strategy across technologies including AEM, Drupal, GraphQL, Next.js, Optimizely, and Storyblok. This role plays a critical part in the organization’s digital transformation roadmap, ensuring technology decisions align with long-term growth, scalability, and enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Architecture Define and maintain a holistic enterprise technology roadmap. Conduct comparative assessments of CMS, front-end frameworks, and digital platforms. Present architectural recommendations and solution blueprints to executive leaders. Platform Evaluation & Decision-Making Drive end-to-end evaluation of AEM, Drupal, Storyblok, Optimizely, Next.js, and GraphQL-based stacks. Analyze scalability, integration potential, cost implications, security, and operational efficiency. Produce documented recommendations including TCO, time-to-market analysis, and performance metrics. Solution Design & Delivery Architect scalable, secure, API-first, enterprise-grade digital solutions. Oversee implementation of microservices-based ecosystems and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure best practices in performance, security, configuration, and deployment. Collaboration & Leadership Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Ops, QA). Mentor technical teams and guide execution best practices. Communicate architectural strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences. Governance & Compliance Enforce architectural and security governance frameworks. Ensure alignment with compliance standards, accessibility, and enterprise security models. Track emerging technologies to maintain platform modernization. Required Skills & Experience Core Expertise (Must-Have) 15+ years in enterprise architecture and digital solution engineering. 12+ years experience in Drupal (9/10/11) including custom module development and headless implementations. 12+ years experience in AEM (AEM 6.x + AEM Cloud Service) with end-to-end project leadership. Extensive understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem including Marketo, Target, Launch, Analytics, and Experience Platform integrations. Experience in GraphQL (8+ years), Next.js/React (10+ years), and Tailwind CSS (5+ years). Strong background in microservices, API design, IAM, SSO, AWS/cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integration. Enterprise Architecture & Migration Proven delivery of large-scale modernization and migration programs. Experience transitioning from monolithic to headless architecture models. Strong proficiency in data modeling, migration strategies, content architecture, and distributed systems. Development & DevOps Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and PHP. Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, cloud deployments, and automated testing. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability, and service performance tuning.
