Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator to support preconstruction and project bidding efforts. This is a remote position offering competitive compensation, designed for professionals with strong estimating expertise and experience working on US projects. The Senior Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and developing bid packages for civil infrastructure and site development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Preparation & Review
- Prepare, analyse, and review bid packages, subcontractor scopes, and cost proposals.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness of all submitted bids.
Estimating & Quantity Take-Offs
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings, including grading, storm drains, utilities, demolition, and site improvements.
- Develop cut and fill maps for site grading and demolition projects.
- Example: Extract storm drain quantities from precise grading plans and calculate earthwork volumes from topographic data.
Estimating Software & Tools
- Utilise industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AutoCAD Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools) for estimating and take-offs.
- Maintain a cost database with updated pricing for labour, equipment, and materials.
Topographical Survey Review & Analysis
- Interpret topographical surveys to assess site elevations, slopes, and grading requirements.
- Incorporate survey data into estimating models to generate accurate earthwork and site development quantities.
- Validate cut/fill balances and identify potential constructability issues early in the estimating phase.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with project managers, engineers, architects, and procurement teams to align estimates with project scope.
- Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive quotes.
US Project Experience
- Review and interpret US construction documents, codes, and specifications.
- Provide accurate estimates tailored for US infrastructure projects (stormwater systems, grading, utilities, site development).
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed estimate reports, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Maintain historical cost records for benchmarking future projects.
Other Duties
- Support client-specific estimating requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management or dictated by client needs.
Shift & Work Details
- Work Mode: Remote (Work From Home)
- Shift Timing: US Shift (Evening/Night IST to align with US business hours)
- Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of estimating experience in civil, infrastructure, or site development projects.
- Strong proficiency in estimating software, AutoCAD, and Excel.
- Proven ability to perform detailed quantity take-offs (e.g., storm drains, grading).
- Experience in US-based construction projects strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Must be able to pass C1 Advanced language proficiency tests

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
