Summit EPC is seeking a Senior Estimator to support large-scale design-build industrial, manufacturing, processing, agricultural, and commercial construction projects across North America.

This is an opportunity to join a growing privately held contractor where estimating, engineering, operations, and leadership work together in a highly collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in shaping project strategy, pricing complex work, and influencing project execution from early development through final GMP delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead detailed estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
• Develop conceptual budgets during preconstruction and design development
• Build detailed trade scopes and bid packages
• Solicit and manage subcontractor pricing
• Analyze and level subcontractor proposals for scope alignment
• Identify scope gaps, overlaps, and constructability concerns
• Prepare complete project cost summaries, assumptions, and clarifications
• Support value engineering and cost optimization efforts
• Coordinate estimating turnover to project management and field operations
• Collaborate closely with engineering, preconstruction, and operations teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial construction experience
• 3+ years of estimating experience on ground-up construction projects
• Experience developing detailed project estimates and bid packages
• Experience leveling subcontractor proposals and managing bid coverage
• Strong understanding of commercial or industrial construction trades
• Experience with projects exceeding $10M preferred
• Design-build experience is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
