Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Senior Event Coordinator to join our Venues Events & Programming Team, supporting a cluster of premium venues. This role bridges creative planning, operational delivery, and commercial excellence. You will be responsible for converting leads into successful events, supporting post-event client retention, and providing end-to-end support under the guidance of the Senior Events Programming Manager.
Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development - Proactive & Reactive Events Sales
Actively manage all event inquiries and logs into the Venues Diaries - Cluster Venues Diary Management
Manage diary for cluster venues - Convert leads into confirmed bookings
Convert leads into confirmed bookings through persuasive sales techniques and tailored proposals - Conduct site visits and client consultations
Conduct site visits and client consultations to showcase venues offerings - Client databases & relationships
Maintain and grow client databases by building strong relationships with corporate, private, and agency clients - Sales targets
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets - Client Account Management
Establish and maintain long-term client relationships through post-event follow-up and feedback collection - CRM & engagement
Open and maintain client accounts in the CRM system for long-term engagement and marketing touch-points - Repeat business & service
Support repeat business through consistent service and communication - Strategic support
Provide direct support to the Senior Events Programming Manager in strategy rollouts, project execution, and programming initiatives - Programming contributions
Contribute ideas to venue programming calendars, activations, and seasonal campaigns - Reporting
Prepare reports, sales forecasts, and performance updates as required
Administrative & Operational Duties
- CRM data entry
Maintain CRM data entry accuracy (OPERA or similar systems) - Event materials
Assist in creating event decks, floor plans, and sales materials - Collaboration
Participate in training, team meetings, and cross-functional briefings
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event coordination or venue sales, preferably in a luxury or high-volume environment - Skills
Strong understanding of event logistics, sales funnels, and client service excellence - Platform proficiency
Proficiency in CRM/event sales platforms (Opera S&C, Delphi, or similar)
