Senior Executive – Marketing & IT (Job Description)Position Overview

The Senior Executive for Marketing & IT plays a dual-role responsible for supporting the organization’s marketing initiatives while managing digital systems, technology tools, and IT-enabled marketing processes. This position ensures seamless coordination between marketing activities and technology operations to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and internal efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, events).
  • Create and manage content for social media platforms, website, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Support brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare reports on ROI and engagement.

IT Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company hardware, software, and basic network functions.
  • Provide first-level IT support to employees (troubleshooting, system setup, updates).
  • Support digital marketing systems, including CRM tools, websites, analytics, and automation platforms.
  • Ensure data security and proper backups for marketing-related digital assets.
  • Collaborate with external tech vendors for website updates, digital tools, and IT services.

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

  • Support digital transformation initiatives within the marketing department.
  • Improve the use of technology in marketing — analytics, automation, lead management, and reporting.
  • Help integrate IT systems with marketing platforms to improve efficiency.
  • Provide insights on new digital tools or technologies that can enhance marketing performance.

QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, IT support, or a combined digital role.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware/software troubleshooting, and digital tools.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (social media, email tools, website CMS).
  • Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and system maintenance.
  • Experience with CRM systems, analytics dashboards, and marketing automation is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate with both technical and marketing teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
