Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Executive - Facilities Operations at Global Village part of Dubai Holding Entertainment . In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:


The Senior Executive – Facility Management is responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, asset readiness, and guest experience excellence across the entire park through close coordination with HSE, Security, and operational stakeholders. The role supports the strategic objectives of Global Village by maintaining operational continuity, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and HSE requirements, managing service provider performance, and facilitating the integration of FM processes into daily operations.


Key Accountabilities:

  • To comply with Global Village Vision & Mission
  • To integrate work ethics to reflect Global Village Values (Safety, Integrity, Innovation, Guest Orientation, Commitment, Excellence)
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Managing/Supervising the functionalities of the FM operations
  • Contribution on new technology implementation and new innovative initiatives.
  • Park inspection, snagging, case study, analysis, reports, and insights adding to operational efficiency.
  • Preparing the Daily / Monthly and Season Analysis for all Service Providers and Stakeholders Cases based on the service requests received in the CAFM system.
  • Service providers CAFM introduction and Training.
  • Supporting FM function such as MEP, civil and soft services work activities during offseason and supporting the team in scope preparation and execution.
  • Monitor SLA performance as per KPI targets.
  • Selecting, training, and managing OCCC agents and Park Operations Inspector.
  • Conduct daily joint inspections with Hard FM, Soft FM, and HSE teams to ensure all park infrastructure, MEP systems, lighting, signage, utilities, and guest facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and follow up on snagging and rectification works with the fit out coordinator for all zones, kiosks, retail shops, buildings, and attractions, ensuring timely completion in alignment with SLAs.
  • Prepare and review technical Scope of Works for maintenance, refurbishments, corrective works, and FM projects upon request.
  • Ensure compliance with DDA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, RTA, and PHC requirements across all FM-related activities.
  • Verify service provider documentation including PPM plans, ad-hoc works, material submittals, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for FM-related incidents such as power failures, leakages, blockages, lighting failures, and equipment breakdowns, ensuring preventive measures are implemented.
  • Lead the operational readiness process by verifying asset condition, corrective repairs, infrastructure upgrades, and all FM deliverables prior to season reopening.
  • Audit cleanliness, waste management efficiency, bin placement strategy, and washing schedules across public and back-of-house areas during peak season.
  • Support the team during handovers by verifying as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test certificates, warranty documents, and asset lists.
  • Oversee Fire & Life Safety readiness in coordination with the FM provider and verify corrective actions for fire systems, emergency lighting, extinguishers, and exit pathways.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).
  • Industry certifications preferred (IWFM, FMP/SFP/CFM).


Experience

  • 5 years and above in the operational field, at least 4 years relevant experience in facility management for retail or office properties and theme parks would be desirable
  • General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes


Skills :

  • Technical understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, pumps)
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills (inspection scoring, dashboards, KPIs).
  • Proficiency in CAFM systems (Maximo, Oracle, SAP) and mobility inspection tools.
  • Strong reporting and documentation clarity.
  • Crisis and event management planning.
  • Customer service & stakeholder management.
  • Preventive, corrective & reactive maintenance process knowledge
  • Inspection techniques: condition surveys, risk identification, safety audits
  • Data-driven FM reporting (CAFM, Power BI, Excel dashboards)
  • Vendor audit, scope verification, and contract compliance checks
  • Working 2 shift during GV session and 1 shift during off season
