Traecit Consulting (Traecit Group) is seeking a Senior Associate – Finance & Accounts to join its growing Finance, Tax & Assurance practice in Chennai. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and monthly closing for client entities, ensuring accurate ledgers, reconciliations, and schedules in line with Indian accounting standards and client group reporting requirements.
- Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules, coordinating with auditors and client finance teams in India and overseas.
- Handle day-to-day finance operations including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and basic treasury coordination as per client processes and internal controls.
- Work closely with the direct and indirect tax teams on data collation for GST, TDS, income tax and other statutory filings, ensuring books are aligned with compliance positions.
- Contribute to process improvement, standardisation, and digital tools adoption within the Finance, Tax & Assurance vertical to deliver efficient, technology-enabled client service.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent finance qualification, with strong grounding in accounting and Indian tax basics.
- Experience: Typically 2–5 years in finance & accounts, audit, or corporate accounting, preferably in a consulting firm, CA firm, or multi-entity.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Working familiarity with GST, TDS and statutory compliances will be an added advantage.
- Comfort with Excel and accounting/ERP software, along with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, payroll, governance) and client stakeholders in India and abroad.
