Senior Executive – Media Relations

Job Purpose:

Strengthen Dubai Health’s media presence by creating engaging media content, partnering with key press and media outlets, and effectively communicating key messages to enhance Dubai Health's reputation and strategic communication efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, acting as the main contact for daily media inquiries and requests.
• Pitch stories, draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, key announcements, and secure media coverage to highlight Dubai Health initiatives and accomplishments.
• Plan, coordinate and secure appropriate media coverage (print, digital, broadcast, and social media) for organizational events, conferences, and official announcements.
• Support the creation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, digital assets and presentation decks to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
• Assist/Support Executives and spokespeople in preparing for interviews by drafting talking points and briefing notes.
• Provide logistical and communication support to executives and spokespeople before, during, and after interviews to ensure consistent and confident delivery.
• Manage media relations to safeguard Dubai Health's reputation, helping develop and execute crisis communication strategies.
• Ensure that all media interactions comply with the organization’s policies, cultural sensitivities, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor media coverage across traditional and digital platforms.
• Prepare regular reports and insights on media visibility, trends, and public perception.
• Mentor junior team members on their day-to-day tasks and support their learning pathway.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

3 - 5 years in Media relations, public relations, or a related role.
