Senior Facilities Engineer - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall monitoring of the Hard service existing contract.
  • Overall monitoring of the on-call service.
  • Client management & periodic meeting.
  • Overview of contract terms & conditions.
  • Timely meeting with existing clients and renewal of contract.
  • Costing & Tendering for the new contract in a timely.
  • Technical & commercial negotiation.
  • Coordination for technical solution and also get awareness of current technical innovation, especially for FM service.
  • Periodic evaluation of the technical team and coordination with the department manager.
  • Ensure the resources are managed by FM team appropriately with supporting reports.
  • Coordination for material procurement.
  • Conducting site technical survey & provide reports
  • Ensure AMC contracts have an appropriate PPM schedule and are documented.
  • Provide the FM service report to the client monthly.
  • Ensure FM contracts KPI & SLA is followed.
  • Timely renewal of FM contracts.
  • Coordination with the marketing team for digital marketing.
  • Contract payment follow-up.
  • On call receivable report & follow up with team.
  • Escalate operation & financial delays to department managers.
  • Maintain strong official internal & external communication.
  • Respond to the client timely.
  • Ensure weekly reports are provided by on call team for enquires, quotation status, and work completion reports. Revenue Vs actual report.
  • Maintain a track report of tenders & tender submission.
  • Back-office team coordination.
  • Ensure appropriate leave scheduling for FM team.
  • Recommend renumeration of FM staff.
  • Periodically visit and inspect the facilities provided randomly.
  • Overall monitoring of the team's performance.
  • Periodic reports to department managers on request.
  • Team management.
  • Support for the recruitment process.
  • Monitor P/L of hard service and take initiative to meet establishment revenue.
  • Coordination with marketing.
  • Strong written & communication background.
  • Strong player on business conversions.
  • UAE market knowledge in FM sector.
  • FM project estimation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or residential building maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (MEP), BMS (Building Management Systems), and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Good understanding of local safety, fire, and building regulations.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage contractors and multiple service providers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
