About the job
If you’re reading this, you’re likely an accomplished litigation attorney who has already walked away from the Big Law grind—or you’re actively planning your exit. Maybe you loved the courtroom, but not the culture. Maybe you enjoyed the challenge, but not the hours, or the feeling that your life belonged to your firm instead of your family. If that sounds familiar, keep reading.
We’re looking for a full‑time (40‑hour‑per‑week) Senior Family Law Attorney who lives in or near Alpharetta and wants meaningful work without sacrificing their life outside the office.
Does this sound like you?
· You left (or are ready to leave) a large law firm because burnout isn’t a badge of honor.
· You’re exhausted from chasing 1800+ billable hours a year and missing the moments that actually matter.
· You still love litigation, strategy, and advocacy—but you want to use your skills where they truly help people.
· You want a firm culture that is collaborative, supportive, and drama‑free.
· You want your ideas to matter—not get lost in bureaucracy.
· You want a short commute, a flexible environment, and real work‑life balance.
· You want to be part of a team that values humans, not just hours.
If this is resonating, we should talk.
What We Value
At Faulhaber Family Law, clients come first—but so do the people who serve them. We’re committed to a culture where:
· Your voice matters. You’ll help shape strategy, not just execute someone else’s thoughts.
· Your time is respected. A normal 40‑hour week is actually normal here.
· Your work has impact. You’ll see the difference you make in clients’ lives every single day.
· Your ideas are welcomed. Innovation isn’t stifled—it’s encouraged.
What You’ll Do
· Analyze client needs, develop case strategies, and communicate clearly with clients.
· Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal correspondence.
· Conduct research, negotiate settlements, and attend mediations.
· Prepare for and litigate hearings and trials.
· Supervise paralegals and assistants, track time, and review billing.
What You Bring
· Significant family law experience.
· Strong courtroom experience with proven results.
· Outstanding legal writing and attention to detail.
· A strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism.
· Empathy, compassion, and the ability to connect with clients.
· A collaborative mindset and self‑motivation.
