Senior Fashion Designer

We are seeking a highly creative, experienced, and customer-oriented Senior Fashion Designer to join our boutique. The ideal candidate must possess strong design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to make every customer feel comfortable and valued. The Senior Designer will also handle key responsibilities of the boutique, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality service, and innovative design offerings

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creativity

Develop unique, trend-forward, and customized designs for clients.

Produce sketches, patterns, fabric selections, and garment prototypes.

Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, textiles, colors, and styles.

Provide fresh design ideas tailored to each customer’s preferences and body type.

Oversee fittings and ensure perfect finishing of garments.

Customer Interaction & Experience

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Make every customer feel comfortable, heard, and well-guided.

Understand customer needs and translate them into standout design concepts.

Provide styling advice and personalized fashion consultation.

Boutique Management & Leadership

Take complete responsibility for daily operations of the boutique.

Lead, mentor, and guide junior designers or staff.

Ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality standards.

Coordinate with tailors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth production flow.

Manage fabric inventory, design schedules, and client appointments.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all garments meet boutique standards in fit, finish, and craftsmanship.

Conduct final checks before handing over to the customers.

Maintain consistency in design and production quality.

New Collection Development

Plan and develop seasonal collections for the boutique.

Suggest new ideas, trends, and creative concepts for upcoming launches.

Create lookbooks, sample designs, and mood boards.

Sales & Business Support

Assist in promoting designs and collections to customers.

Contribute creative input during boutique photoshoots or marketing campaigns.

Support the boutique owner in building brand reputation and client base.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer or Senior Designer.

Strong sketching, pattern-making, and garment construction skills.

Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.

Strong sense of style, color coordination, and fabric knowledge.

Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and take responsibility.

Creativity, problem-solving ability, and trend awareness.

Professional attitude, punctuality, and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in boutique or custom design work.

Ability to innovate and bring fresh concepts regularly.
