Senior Finance Analyst (Retail)

We are a leading UAE retail company representing a portfolio of premium sports, lifestyle, and consumer brands. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide actionable financial insights that support sustainable growth, improve business performance, and influence key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual and monthly budget & rolling forecast plans by channel, brand and store across Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce.
• Track the business plans against the Budget/Forecast and identify risks and opportunities.
• Work with the accounting team through month-end close on accruals and analytical review.
• Own the monthly management reporting pack: P&L by channel, brand and store, with variances against budget, forecast and last year.
• Prepare the PowerPoint decks for business reviews, leadership meetings and brand principal updates.
• Maintain KPI dashboards covering sales, margin, opex and inventory.
• Support new store feasibilities, lease renewals and other investment cases.
• Improve financial models and automate recurring reports (Excel; Power BI and AI tools).
• Support ERP and BI enhancements and help keep master data clean.
• Document reporting processes so they are repeatable and auditable.
• Ad hoc scenario modelling/ decision support for management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field; CIMA, ACCA, CA or CFA (qualified or part-qualified) preferred.
• Five to eight years in FP&A or commercial finance, with at least two to three years in retail; multi-store, multi-channel or franchise businesses.
• GCC experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint are essential; Power BI or a similar BI tool is a plus.
• Hands-on experience of a major ERP (Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
