Purpose

 

ABM is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis across Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce channels.

 

The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights, identify business risks and opportunities, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to sustainable business growth and improved financial performance.

Responsibilities

 

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

 

  • Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets, and rolling forecasts across channels, brands, and stores.
  • Track business performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly P&L analysis by channel, brand, and store, including variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards covering sales, margins, operating expenses, and inventory.
  • Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support management decision-making.

Management Reporting & Business Support

 

  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews and leadership meetings.
  • Work closely with accounting during month-end close, including accruals and analytical reviews.
  • Support new store feasibility studies, lease renewals, and other investment cases.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision support to management.

Systems & Process Improvement

 

  • Improve financial models and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
  • Support ERP and BI system enhancements and ensure financial master data remains accurate.
  • Document reporting and financial processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and auditability.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CFA qualification (qualified or part-qualified) is preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with 2–3 years preferably within retail.
  • Experience in multi-store, multi-channel, or franchise businesses is preferred.
  • GCC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar major ERP system.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
