Berkeley Middle East is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to support strategic financial planning and business decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve financial efficiency. This role requires a highly analytical professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to transform financial data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends affecting business performance.
- Support strategic planning, business cases, and investment analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives.
- Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide senior management with data-driven financial insights for decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and corporate finance principles.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or CFA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or corporate finance.
- Experience working within multinational organizations or diversified business groups is preferred.
- Proven ability to provide strategic financial insights that support business growth.
