Company Overview

Berkeley Middle East is looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Analyst to support the finance team in delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will assist in evaluating financial performance, preparing management reports, and providing valuable insights that support informed business decisions. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and eager to contribute to organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Assist in developing financial models and business performance reports.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and prepare management dashboards.
  • Reconcile financial data and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist with audit processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business units to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or CFA (completed or in progress) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in multinational organizations or diversified business groups is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable business insights.
