We are looking for a Senior Finance & Governance Director (m/f/d) who can take ownership of our financial strategy, governance framework, and corporate risk management initiatives. You are not just managing budgets—you are building financial discipline, strengthening compliance structures, and driving business performance at the executive level.

You will lead a highly capable finance and governance team, bridging the gap between financial reporting, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and executive leadership. You will be the trusted advisor in a room full of department leaders, board members, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning:
Lead corporate budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, financial modeling, and performance reporting to support long-term business objectives.

Governance & Compliance:
Develop and maintain governance frameworks, internal controls, risk management policies, and compliance standards aligned with regulatory requirements and global best practices.

Leadership & Team Development:
Lead and mentor finance managers, controllers, analysts, and governance professionals. Conduct performance reviews and build a culture of accountability and excellence.

Risk & Audit Management:
Oversee financial risk assessments, internal audits, external reporting, and policy implementation to ensure transparency and operational integrity.

Stakeholder Management:
Present financial insights, governance strategies, and performance recommendations to executive leadership, board members, investors, and external partners.

What We Are Looking For?

Experience:
6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, governance, or corporate strategy, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role.

Leadership Background:
Proven experience managing corporate finance functions, governance structures, regulatory compliance, and executive reporting.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualifications are highly valued.

Language Skills:
Fluent English is required. Arabic is highly preferred for regional stakeholder communication.

Mindset:
You are analytical, commercially strategic, and highly disciplined. You know when to manage risk conservatively, when to support growth initiatives boldly, and how to protect the long-term interests of the organization.
