Senior Finance Manager, Cloud Supply Chain

The Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving group at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The team’s charter is to build out end to end Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure while driving down unit cost of capacity, ensuring cloud services achieve both profit and gross margin growth. As a crucial member of the team you’ll also support long term bets and drive competitive intelligence to keep Microsoft Cloud ahead of competition. All while enhancing transparency into Cloud Infrastructure investments, safeguarding shareholder interest.

Responsibilities
- Shape the future of Microsoft’s cloud products by contributing to strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Deliver solutions that empower customers to succeed globally through optimized cloud infrastructure investments.
- Support initiatives aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy to enable businesses worldwide to thrive.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transparency and cost efficiency in cloud operations.
- Drive insights and recommendations that influence long-term decisions and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, and/or controllership
- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related operational functions
Additional or preferred qualifications
- MBA and/or CPA certification preferred
- Strong skills in financial modeling and creating clear, compelling presentations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Proactive approach with strong business insight and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in program management, process improvement, and operational efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and transform them into actionable insights
- Experience in supply chain or inventory management within a cloud infrastructure-related field is a plus
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
