Senior Accountant – Real Estate

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a mandatory real estate background to oversee core accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and cost governance. The ideal candidate must be Arabic speaking and capable of supporting financial control functions within a real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and working capital management
• Ensure Tax & VAT compliance and coordinate external audits
• Oversee AR/AP functions and monitor cash flow
• Govern facility management costs and monitor operational expenditures
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage across assets
• Maintain appropriate provisions for community/project CAPEX

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8–10 years of experience, including exposure to real estate accounting (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems
• Arabic language proficiency (mandatory)
• Audit firm background preferred
• Professional certification (CMA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage
