Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Financial Accountant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide financial reporting. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial data, reconciling accounts, managing accounting software, and supporting strategic financial decisions through in-depth analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments
• Evaluate internal controls and identify risks
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations
• Perform audit testing on key financial areas (cash, inventory, accounts payable/receivable)
• Prepare audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations
• Follow up on audit observations and corrective actions
• Support external audits and financial reviews

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting or audit experience
• Strong knowledge of Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred
