Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving strategic financial decision-making and performance insights across the organization. This position is responsible for leading complex financial modeling, in-depth variance and trend analyses, and contributing to long-range planning and business case development. The role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to shape financial strategies, optimize business outcomes, and support key initiatives across the enterprise.


Essential Job Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to operational leaders, department heads, and regional managers by providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly operational reporting process, delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reports to operational and executive leaders.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations with clear narratives around financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process or cost optimizations.
  • Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reports using advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy, and system integration.
  • Monitor and interpret external economic, industry, and market trends and assess their implications for business operations and financial planning.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning systems, tools, and financial processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No direct supervisory responsibility.

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, or corporate finance; prior experience in public accounting or investment analysis a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or professional certification.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools including Oracle Fusion, Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with automation, financial systems implementation, or process redesign initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data and deliver high-impact insights.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence decisions across multiple functional areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • High degree of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Primarily an office environment; requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and occasional walking.
  • May require occasional domestic travel to support business needs.

Salary Range: $90,000-95,000/year
