Kitchell is seeking a strategic, data-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team at our Phoenix headquarters. This role will play a key part in supporting the CFO and executive leadership with advanced financial analytics, modeling, and insights that drive decision-making across all Kitchell operating companies.

The ideal candidate combines technical excellence in Power BI and Excel with strong business acumen and a collaborative approach. Overview

Provide detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support financial decisions. Assess financial performance, develop financial models, and provide recommendations on investments or cost control strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for the CFO and executive team.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgeted figures and provide explanations for discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information and support cross-functional projects.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the organization’s financial health.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to predict future performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Support strategic decisions by evaluating potential investments and risk mitigation.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, or similar analytical roles.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data visualization, and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in a corporate finance environment.
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data into clear narratives.

  • Proactive and adaptable; comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

  • This role is onsite at Kitchell’s Phoenix headquarters, offering direct collaboration with the CFO, corporate finance team, and leaders across all operating companies.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general, climate controlled, office environment.

Physical Requirements

Individual will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Limited to no travel will be required for this position.
