Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President of FinanceStrategy, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation and maintenance of detailed budgets, forecasts, financial reporting packages, COGS and rebate reconciliation analyses, and other ad hoc financial summaries. Role is hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week working out of Altruix's corporate headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD.
Main Responsibilities
Assists in the preparation of the detailed annual operating budget and financial forecast models.
Performs variance analysis and prepares related commentary.
Consolidates and publishes monthly financial and operational KPI scorecard.
Publishes daily gross margin report by pharmacy location.
Leads calculation of quarterly sales commissions.
Prepares cash flow forecast and related reporting.
Analyzes and optimizes purchasing performance, driving and reporting weekly spend by supplier and pharmacy location.
Models and manages rebate programs to ensure proper accruals and cash collections.
Validates unit COGS data, confirming data integrity and consistency across databases.
Updates weekly supplier payment files, ensuring vendors are paid on time while maximizing prompt pay discount opportunities.
Develops and updates Procurement Scorecard, documenting the financial impact of successful initiatives.
Oversees and maintains integrity of Power BI data warehouse and related tools.
Drafts materials for management and Board presentations.
Works collaboratively with Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management and Procurement teams.
Performs additional ad hoc analyses as required.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
2-5 years of relevant financial analysis and modeling experience.
Prior experience building budgets/forecasts.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA preferred, but not required.
Prior experience in Management Consulting, Private Equity, Investment Banking or Corporate Development, particularly in a healthcare setting, preferred.
Pharmacy industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of Sage Intacct G/L and Power BI systems preferred.
Collaborative style, can-do attitude and high intellectual curiosity preferred.
