Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:

Our client, a highly respected and evolving organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with 5+ years of experience who is looking to leverage expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reporting while contributing to business performance and process improvements. Only candidates located in Georgia will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes across business units
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis reports for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Analyze financial results, trends, KPIs, and operational performance while providing actionable recommendations
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and scenario analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and executive leadership teams to support financial objectives
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes by assisting with reporting and financial analysis
  • Create and enhance dashboards, management reporting packages, and executive presentations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased reporting efficiency
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects, profitability analysis, and strategic initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
  • 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or FP&A experience required
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience supporting business operations through financial modeling and strategic analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and present findings to leadership

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning/reporting tools required
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to manipulate spreadsheets, run reports, and support executive-level financial reporting and analysis

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
