About Your Team

Our Group Financial Reporting team is responsible for managing consolidated and stand-alone financial reporting across the organisation while ensuring compliance with IFRS, Group policies, and reporting requirements.

Working closely with Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems, and Operational teams, the department supports internal and external reporting obligations while continuously improving reporting quality, controls, and efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Reporting Manager and supporting the wider Finance leadership team, this role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Your Role

As a Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting, you will:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and stand-alone financial statements for assigned entities
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation activities, including subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates
• Prepare Group reporting packs for the Parent company on a half-yearly and annual basis
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies, and reporting deadlines
• Support quarterly and year-end external audit processes by coordinating with auditors and preparing required schedules and supporting documentation
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidation adjustments
• Support statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including annual and interim reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly group management accounts and reporting packs
• Work closely with Accounting teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting across entities
• Support the implementation and enhancement of consolidation systems, including Oracle FCCS/Hyperion
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across consolidation and reporting processes
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to improve reporting tools, analytical capabilities, and reporting efficiency
• Prepare ad hoc reports, analysis, and presentations as required by management
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners across the organisation
• Stay up to date with changes in IFRS and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills & Attributes

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Experience in group consolidations and multi-entity reporting environments
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently within a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience using consolidation and reporting systems such as Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, or Cognos
• Experience within listed companies or complex group reporting structures
• Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industries
• Experience driving automation and process improvement initiatives
• Arabic language skills would be advantageous

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or group finance functions
• Professional qualification such as ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA , or equivalent
• Experience within a large corporate, professional services, or group reporting environment is preferred
