Senior Fleet and Transport Manager

About the Role:

Kuwait City is a major hub for regional logistics and infrastructure operations, and at Chetak Industrial Logistics and Infrastructure Services, we bring operational excellence to every stage of transportation and fleet management. We manage large-scale logistics networks that support industrial, commercial, and distribution clients across the Gulf region. We are looking for a Senior Fleet and Transport Manager (m/f/d) who can take ownership of our transportation strategy and operational performance. You will not only oversee fleet activities but also drive efficiency, compliance, and long-term operational planning. You will lead a skilled operations team, ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, warehouse teams, vendors, and senior leadership. You are the operational backbone in a fast-moving environment where reliability and execution matter every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations Management: Oversee daily transport activities, vehicle scheduling, route planning, and operational performance across regional operations.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company operating procedures.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor supervisors, coordinators, and transport staff while promoting a high-performance operational culture.

Cost Optimization: Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and vendor contracts to improve operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.

Vendor and Client Coordination: Work closely with external transport providers, suppliers, and major clients to maintain service quality and operational reliability.

Performance Reporting: Analyze transport KPIs, prepare operational reports, and recommend improvements based on performance data and business needs.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: 7+ years in fleet, transportation, or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fleet operations, transport compliance, vehicle maintenance coordination, and logistics planning.

Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced industrial or logistics environment.

Systems Knowledge: Experience using ERP systems, transport management software, GPS fleet tracking, and operational reporting tools.

Language Skills: English proficiency is required for reporting and coordination. Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.

Mindset: You are organized, decisive, and operationally focused. You know how to balance efficiency, safety, and service quality while managing multiple priorities under pressure.

Pay: KD1,750.000 - KD2,300.000 per month

Work Location: In person
