Senior Fleet Manager (Heavy Transport)

Job Summary:
Chris Truck Logistics W.L.L. is seeking a Senior Fleet Manager (Heavy Transport) to oversee and optimize large-scale fleet operations across logistics and transport services in Doha. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient vehicle utilization, maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and cost control. If you are an experienced logistics professional with strong leadership skills in fleet and transport operations, this is a key operational leadership opportunity.

What you'll do:

• Manage day-to-day fleet operations including scheduling, dispatch, and route planning
• Oversee maintenance programs, vehicle inspections, and fleet safety standards
• Monitor fuel usage, operating costs, and fleet efficiency metrics
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety policies, and licensing requirements
• Lead and manage drivers, supervisors, and fleet support staff
• Implement systems to improve tracking, reporting, and operational performance
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams for seamless delivery
• Analyze data and KPIs to optimize fleet performance and reduce costs
• Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, leasing, and transport services
• Handle incident management, reporting, and corrective action processes

Requirements:

• Experience in fleet management, logistics, or heavy transport operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance, transport regulations, and safety compliance
• Ability to manage large vehicle fleets and operational logistics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
• Familiarity with fleet management systems or GPS tracking tools is an advantage
