Senior forward deployment engineer (Voice Agent Domain Expert)

The role

You'll own production voice agents end to end — architecture, build, integration, testing, and the client conversation. No hand-holding, no review queue. You ship agents that take real calls in Arabic and English, and you're the person the room defers to when someone asks "can it actually do that?"

This is a peer-level hire. You'll set standards, not follow them.

You must have

  • Hands on experience building production ready voice agents — not chatbots, not demos (Arabic is a bonus).
  • Native or near-native Arabic with real dialect command — you know why a Khaleeji agent can't use بدك and what a kasra on a feminine ك does to a TTS output.
  • Prompt architecture at scale. You've hit the wall where adding rules makes an agent worse , and you know the fix is scoping and deduplication, not trimming.
  • Workflow orchestration and automation, hands-on. You debug a 401 by reading the request, not by guessing.
  • API fluency under pressure. You read unfamiliar docs and ship the integration the same day.
  • You've been in front of clients — scoping feasibility live, saying "no, not that" credibly, and keeping authority when an agent fails on a call.

What separates the hire from the applicant

  • You fix bug classes , never single transcripts.
  • You know which logic belongs in a prompt and which belongs in a flow node — and you never confuse the two.
  • You've built for a regulated client (banking, government, health) and know why that bar is different.
  • You can explain STT context tuning to an engineer and agent behavior to a CMO, in the same hour.

Nice to have

  • Levantine and Khaleeji fluency
  • Post-call analysis pipelines, structured output schemas
  • Experience training or managing a team

Note for candidates:

You need a spec to start, a reviewer to finish, or a senior to escalate to. There isn't one — the job requires full ownership.
