Senior FP&A Analyst

At Valerie Yermal, we believe that behind every great business decision is a story told by data. We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst who can look beyond the spreadsheets to find the "why" and the "what next."

Based in our Ar-Rayyan office, you will be the analytical engine of our finance team. This isn’t a role for a passive reporter; it’s for a proactive strategist who can forecast trends, challenge assumptions, and provide the financial clarity our leadership needs to navigate a competitive market.

Your Strategic Mandate

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the annual budgeting cycle and rolling monthly forecasts, ensuring they are both ambitious and grounded in operational reality.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive investigations into monthly performance versus budget, identifying root causes and recommending course corrections.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex, flexible financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and capital investments.
• Executive Reporting: Transform raw financial data into visually compelling dashboards and monthly management presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Business Partnership: Act as a dedicated financial advisor to department heads, helping them understand their "spend" and optimize their ROI.
• KPI Development: Define and track key performance indicators that go beyond revenue to measure true operational efficiency and profitability.

Who You Are

• The Professional: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A professional certification (CFA, CMA, or part-qualified ACCA) is highly advantageous.
• The Expert: You have 5–8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a fast-paced consulting or corporate environment.
• The Architect: You are an Excel power-user (think: advanced modeling, Power Query, and sophisticated logic). Experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a major plus.
• The Storyteller: You can distill complex financial narratives into clear, actionable insights for non-finance executives.
• The Detail-Oriented Skeptic: You have an eagle eye for accuracy but always ask "what if?" to stress-test your own models.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a plus but not required.
