Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior File Transfer Gateway (FTG) Engineer with extensive, hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Suite, AWS services, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust file transfer integration and cloud infrastructure solutions that support our clients' business-critical applications. This role requires a strong blend of application-specific (IBM Sterling) and modern cloud/DevOps engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

IBM Sterling & Integration

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the IBM Sterling Suite, specifically focusing on B2B Integrator and File Gateway (SFG) environments.
• Integration: Design and implement complex file transfer solutions, including protocols like SFTP, FTPS, and AS2, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange with external partners and internal systems.
• Troubleshooting: Provide Level 3 support and perform advanced troubleshooting for all IBM Sterling Suite components, resolving issues related to routing, performance, and connectivity.

Cloud Infrastructure & Management

• AWS Management: Manage, monitor, and optimize core AWS Cloud resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, EFS for shared storage, RDS for database services, and IAM for secure access control.
• Reliability & Scalability: Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of the FTG platform and its underlying cloud infrastructure.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., encryption, access controls) across the IBM Sterling application and AWS environment.

DevOps & Automation

• CI/CD Pipeline: Develop, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like CloudBees/Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment of configuration changes and application updates.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate the provisioning and management of cloud and application infrastructure using Terraform for orchestration and Ansible for configuration management.
• Scripting: Utilize scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) to automate repetitive operational tasks, monitoring, and environment setup.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to streamline deployment processes, improve environment stability, and enforce governance.
• Communication: Leverage excellent communication and collaboration abilities to articulate technical issues, propose solutions, and document procedures effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in an IT Engineering role, with a strong focus on integration and DevOps.
• Strong, hands-on experience with the IBM Sterling Suite, specifically IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
• Extensive hands-on experience managing and deploying services within AWS Cloud (specifically EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, and IAM).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in configuration management using Ansible.
• Good practical experience with CI/CD workflows and tools, preferably CloudBees or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, and security best practices relevant to file transfer.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex production issues quickly.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month
