Senior Full-Stack Developer (Python / React / WordPress / Automation)

About the Role

ORSO Tech SMC (PVT) LTD is a growing digital technology company developing web platforms and automation systems for international clients. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead end-to-end development of modern web applications and system integrations.

This is an on-site position based in Rawalpindi that involves close collaboration with our U.S.-based management team during overlapping working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, FastAPI, and WordPress (custom themes and plugins).
• Design and document REST APIs and database schemas (MySQL / PostgreSQL).
• Manage infrastructure and deployments using Docker, Nginx / Traefik, AWS, and Cloudflare.
• Build and optimize automation workflows with n8n, Zapier, and internal APIs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Review code, write technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability best practices are followed throughout the stack.
• Collaborate with project managers on planning and product development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Frontend: React, TailwindCSS, Elementor, WordPress (custom development).
• Backend: Python (FastAPI), REST APIs, MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• DevOps: Docker, Git, VPS management, Traefik / Nginx.
• Cloud & Automation: AWS, Cloudflare, n8n, Zapier.
• Strong understanding of web performance, security, and scalability.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that partially overlaps with U.S. business hours.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases).
• Knowledge of SEO-optimized development and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with Redis, Celery, and observability tools (Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience building dashboards, client portals, or SaaS applications.
