Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer ( Focus) to design and build modern, scalable applications that support our public safety technology solutions. This role will focus heavily on development while contributing across the full application stack.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building intuitive user experiences, mentoring other engineers, and driving technical excellence. This role will play a key part in shaping architecture, improving system performance, and delivering high-quality, production-ready software.
Key Responsibilities
Development & User Experience
- Design and develop high-quality React applications with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability
- Build reusable UI components and scalable architecture
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into polished user experiences
Full-Stack Development
- Develop backend services using Node.js and .NET technologies
- Design, build, and integrate APIs and microservices
- Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and maintainable
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Support team growth through knowledge sharing and collaboration
Engineering Excellence
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment processes
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building production applications with React
- Experience with Node.js backend development
- Experience working with .NET / C# services
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and modern web architecture
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
