Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Systems & Platform Development
Location: Chadds Ford, PA (In-Office Only)
Salary: $120,000 – $175,000+ (Based on Experience)

FreeRateUpdate.com operates a high-volume financial marketing and lead distribution platform powering lenders, call centers, and consumer-facing acquisition funnels nationwide.

We are now aggressively expanding AI throughout our internal systems, reporting infrastructure, call center operations, and consumer conversion flows.

We are seeking a senior-level engineer who can help architect, implement, and evolve AI-driven systems across our platform.

This is not a maintenance role.
This is a systems-building role.

What You’ll Be Building

You will help us:

AI Implementation Across Internal Systems

Integrate OpenAI and other AI APIs into production workflows
Turn existing report snapshots into intelligent, contextual analysis
Build AI-driven analysis layers on top of structured and semi-structured data
Create automated reporting insights from historical datasets
Implement monitoring systems for AI outputs and system reliability

Reporting & Knowledge Base Evolution

Build and maintain dynamic reporting dashboards
Create AI-powered report interpretation tools
Help structure and evolve internal knowledge bases (KBs)
Implement searchable and AI-assisted internal documentation systems
Optimize database queries for high-volume reporting systems

Call Center + Communication Systems

Work with Twilio APIs (Voice + SMS)
Support AI-enhanced call workflows
Implement analysis systems for call data and messaging logs
Improve automation and intelligence inside operational workflows

Consumer-Facing AI

Help evolve our AI assistant used on landing pages and lead forms
Optimize AI-driven consumer conversations for conversion
Build and maintain chat-based flows integrated into Laravel/PHP backend
Improve decision trees using real data insights

Core Platform Engineering

Develop and maintain Laravel/PHP applications
Build and maintain internal APIs
Optimize MySQL databases
Manage deployments and infrastructure
Maintain system performance under load

Required Technical Skills

You must have strong production experience with:

PHP (Laravel strongly preferred)
MySQL (query optimization, indexing, replication concepts)
JavaScript (modern ES6+)
API integrations (REST, third-party APIs)
Git-based workflows
Docker
Apache / Linux server environments

Strong Plus:

Experience integrating OpenAI or other LLM APIs
Experience working with Twilio (Voice + SMS APIs)
Experience building AI-assisted tools
Experience working with structured + unstructured data
Infrastructure knowledge (load balancing, scaling, monitoring)
Bash / CLI comfort

What This Role Is NOT

Not a junior role
Not a remote role
Not a “fix WordPress plugins” role
Not a pure frontend Angular position

This is a senior systems role with direct impact on company direction.

Experience Requirements

5+ years professional web application development
2+ years working in production backend systems
Experience integrating external APIs
AI integration experience preferred (but strong engineers willing to go deep into AI will be considered)
