Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer (MERN) / Senior Software Lead Engineer  for a full-time  hybrid  role based in Lahore.

This position offers partial work-from-home flexibility.

As a senior developer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable full-stack applications
• Leading both backend and frontend development using the MERN stack
• Building and optimizing RESTful APIs and system architecture
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance user experience
• Ensuring high-quality code, performance, and reliability
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical decision-making
• Staying updated with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices

This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership, influence product direction, and work on a platform used internationally.

Required Qualifications

• 5–6+ years  of professional experience in  Full-Stack Development
• Strong expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
• Proven experience in backend development , building RESTful APIs, and server-side logic
• Strong  frontend development  skills with JavaScript, React, and responsive UI design
• Proficiency in  CSS  and creating dynamic, polished user interfaces
• Hands-on experience with modern software development practices:
• Clean code
• Debugging
• Git / version control
• Ability to architect, optimize, and scale complex systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar (Master’s is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or leading development teams
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, or DevOps tools
