Senior Fullstack Engineer (FE-focused) — Monetisation Team (f/m/d)

About us Pet Media Group (PMG) is a scale-up that acquires, launches, and develops market-leading pet marketplaces globally, with over 1.5 million animals finding new homes through our platforms every year. The way pets find new loving homes has remained largely unchanged for centuries. We're on a mission to change that through innovative technology — and increasingly, through the intelligent use of AI. We're a young and ambitious team who have built unicorns before (e.g. Avito), backed by some of Europe's leading investors (e.g. Verdane and Otiva — early backers of Klarna, CAIA, Apotea, and Easypark).

Who are we looking for?

We're expanding our Monetisation team and looking for an FE-focused full stack engineer to help us build great products in the payment processing & value-added services space, and improve the user experience in the payment domain.

We're not just looking for a strong engineer — we're looking for someone who actively uses AI tools as part of their daily workflow: whether that's using LLMs to accelerate development, exploring AI-powered tooling for testing, code review, or product ideation, or simply staying genuinely curious about where the technology is heading.

We expect roughly 6 years of engineering experience, ideally with our current tech stack — and a mindset that sees AI as a multiplier, not a buzzword.

Requirements We're a fast-growing scale-up. We want engineers who build fast, fail fast, and learn fast. You don't need to be a world-class expert in every tool we use — but you do need a critical, open mindset, strong JavaScript proficiency, and a genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development.

Core (required):

• Building apps with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js & React
• Understanding of GraphQL and its usage in large systems with multiple consumers
• Experience with frontend testing tools and testing strategies
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Active use of AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor, Codex, ...) in your day-to-day engineering work — we want to hear how you use them
  
  

Bonus (helpful & appreciated):

• Experience with payment processing (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree)
• Experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch
• Experience with monitoring & observability tools like Grafana
• Experience with responsive design & mobile web UX
• Experience with UI/component frameworks like Tailwind
• Experience evaluating or experimenting with AI coding workflows at team or company level
  
  

Working proficiency in English is required.
