Job Title: Fund Accountant

Location: Pune

Essential Qualification and Work Experience:

Educational Background:

o Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance related

fields

o Professional accounting qualification – CA, CPA,

ACCA or similar

o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications

(Word, Excel etc.)

Work Experience:

o Minimum of 2 years in Alternatives Fund

Accounting/Fund of Funds, Private Equity Portfolios,

Hedge Funds and Evergreen Funds

o Performing the administration of and any services

pursuant to administration agreements in respect

of a portfolio of Fund of Funds, Private Equity

Funds, Hedge Funds and Evergreen Funds

o Preparation of Net Asset Value calculations and

associated reports for larger, complex clients, or as

required, within deadlines

o Working closely within the team of Fund

Accountants to manage timelines, workflows and

deliverables within agreed SLAs, as defined in the

admin agreements with end clients, i.e. preparing

capital calls/distributions, preparing GAV, NAV,

waterfall, reconciling cash, management fee calcs,

PCAPs, etc

o Valuation of portfolio holdings

o Analysis of fund performance and prepare

performance related reports

o Working closely within the team of Fund

Accountants to manage timelines, workflows and

deliverables within agreed SLAs

o Meeting client expectations by monitoring timely

delivery of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables

o Escalating all material issues effecting the NAV

production process in a timely manner

o Coordinate the Year End process with respect to

audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation,

Regulatory filings, Tax services etc

Soft Skills:

• Adhere to documented operational processes for

each transaction, ensuring compliance with the latest version of SLA/Goal metrics to achieve key

drivers of client satisfaction daily.

• Take full ownership of daily work, completing all

tasks with a high degree of accuracy and within

specified timeframes.

• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-

solving and continuous improvement, contributing

to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the

team.

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of Advent Geneva, Investran

and other Accounting applications

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
