Senior FX Artist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior VFX Artist to join our creative team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects that bring immersive and cinematic experiences to life. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic vision, technical expertise in industry-standard tools, and proven experience delivering VFX for films, TV, or AAA games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create high-end visual effects (explosions, particles, fluids, environmental effects, etc.) to meet artistic and technical briefs.
• Work closely with directors, art leads, and other departments to understand and implement VFX requirements.
• Maintain consistency of style across projects while innovating and pushing quality boundaries.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance and quality across different platforms.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to VFX production.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior VFX artists as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years in VFX production for film, television, or AAA games.
Software Proficiency: Expert in Houdini, Maya, Nuke, After Effects, and Unreal Engine (or Unity).
Strong understanding of physics-based simulations (particles, fluids, smoke, fire, destruction).

Excellent knowledge of shader development and rendering techniques.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with scripting (Python, MEL) for tool development and pipeline optimization.
• Knowledge of photogrammetry and real-time VFX workflows.
• Experience with compositing and color grading.
