Job Description

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of the organization. This role involves leading and coordinating various departments, implementing organizational policies, and driving initiatives to achieve business objectives and profitability. With extensive experience and leadership skills, you provide strategic guidance, foster innovation, and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to department heads and senior leadership team to drive growth and innovation.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage financial resources effectively, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and cost efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure effective talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning initiatives are in place.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Represent the organization in external forums, conferences, and industry associations to promote its interests and objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's interests.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, and oversee internal audit and governance processes.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships skills

Job Competency / Qualifications

Education/ Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

  • At least three or more years of work experience in sales, marketing, or business administration.
  • Experience in senior management roles with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
