If you are a dynamic design professional with a passion for professional barbering, hairdressing and animal grooming, then we have an opportunity for a results-driven individual to join our regional marketing team.

Create visually compelling designs and engaging video content that effectively communicates messaging, enhances brand identity and captures the attention of the target audience. Work across a range of digital and brand projects, from websites, local country specific campaigns and regional marketing assets, to deliver Wahl's visual outlook through online and offline platforms across our Professional, Consumer and Pet categories.


You will have room to continue to develop your skills, share ideas and see your work brought to life across multiple brands and categories.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales, Product and all marketing team members within region, on projects to ensure creation of meaningful material
  • Craft and communicate our brand image by creating content for digital and social, as well as print media channels
  • Create marketing design templates ensuring maintenance of electronic document register for all graphic design masters
  • Develop packaging artworks from concept to finished art, from existing families of products to new added ranges ensuring visual appeal and on brand.
  • Create digital mock-ups of products and all the digital assets required, such as product images, lifestyle images, and features images
  • Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts and visual assets for various projects/campaigns.
  • Edit and manipulate videos footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for websites and social media platforms
  • Content creation for social media, including static tiles, animated gifs, videos, shorts, and reels
  • Understand the narrative and objectives of the video content and develop a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques.
  • Edi and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music and sound effects to ensure high quality audio for video projects.
  • Handle camera on occasions and capture footage as and when required for the video content.
  • Design a wide range of digital and hard copy communication collateral including but not limited to EDMs, newsletters, digital banners, landing pages, catalogues, pamphlets and more
  • 3D modelling and rendering on designs for instore displays, events, products and various other materials as required
  • Create and finalise designs for expos and shows booths, including but not limited to backdrops, banners, posters, displays, shelf talkers, wobblers, posters, and stickers.

Skills and Experience
  • High level of proficiency in graphic design software and video editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve and Blender
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, layout composition and video editing techniques
  • Creative thinking and ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs and engaging videos
  • Attention to detail and strong eye for aesthetics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks relating to designing and simultaneously and meets deadlines
  • Adaptability and willingness to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects and audit editing
  • Ability to communicate and engage with all stakeholders
