Senior Graphic Designer

Job Summary
Fashion moves at a fast pace and so do we. We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who is open to a broad scope of marketing challenges with a keen creative eye, fresh outlook, and ability to transform creative outlines into a visual masterpiece.

The Consolidated Shoe Company Graphic Designer is constantly in pursuit of excellence, following the latest design trends, platforms, and tools specific to the fashion industry in an exciting, fast-paced environment. They are able to follow brand guidelines while inventing new ways to present the branded message in both visual and written communication.

Duties

• Work as a team with co-workers and the creative director to determine the scope of various projects
• Advise creative, innovative strategies to reach a particular target audience
• Determine campaign messaging and visual design to convey a specific message
• Create various media including graphics, videos, product illustrations, logos, catalogs, lookbooks, direct mail, ads, posters and more for platforms including web, email marketing, social media, and more.
• Develop copy content for websites, blogs, articles, press releases, product descriptions, marketing materials, campaigns and SEO
• Manage ecommerce websites including content, product updates, media import, selling strategy, customer service aspects and reporting
• Incorporate changes recommended by the creative team
• Review and proof designs for errors
• Provide analytical reports of KPIs for web, advertisements, and various campaigns
• Jump in on various marketing tasks working together with a small team with an adaptive, wide scope.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design
• 5+ years experience working in the field of graphic design (8+ preferred)
• Experience in the fashion or retail industry (preferred)
• Experience in creative writing and messaging
• Experience in web management platforms such as Shopify and Squarespace
• Strong experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier
• Knowledge of Mac OS and software upgrades
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Team player mentality that’s flexible and open to working outside of the box and standard realms of responsibilities, supporting the company as a whole
• Open to personal growth through constructive criticism and client feedback
• Sense of urgency in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment
• Creative eye with the ability to identify and execute new, exciting ways to present products and ideas
• Great attention to detail with a perfectionist approach to design execution and proofing
• The ability to present new ideas to teammates, management and clients

Working Conditions

The graphic design position is a full-time position. Standard office hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm M-F. Some nights, weekends and travel may be required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
