Senior Graphic Designer - Product & Packaging

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our IN-OFFICE design team in our Midtown Manhattan studio. In this role, you would be responsible for creating graphics for our consumer product as well as packaging that aligns with our brand identities. Under our Creative Director you will lead design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product development and packaging design, along with a passion for trends & fashion.

Duties

• Collaborate with design team to produce compelling on-trend new product. This includes: repeat patterns, screen printed graphics, printing processes, packaging styles.
• Execute photo manipulation and photography tasks to enhance packaging design.
• Develop tech packs for factory sampling & production.
• Oversee production design processes, ensuring quality control in sign manufacturing and layout design.
• Create presentations of design concepts to buyers, incorporating feedback into final designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends in graphic design, typography, color theory, and digital art.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Designer/Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in product development and packaging design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustra), CAD & 3D experience preferred but not necessary.
• Strong skills in branding, illustration, digital design.
• Excellent understanding of color management, typography, typesetting, and layout design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is prequired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
