Senior Healthcare Recruiter

Position Summary
The Senior Healthcare Recruiter leads full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain highly qualified clinical healthcare professionals. This role partners closely with leadership to support workforce planning and ensure timely, compliant, and strategic hiring aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Healthcare Recruiter serves as a subject matter expert, provides mentorship to recruiting staff, and drives continuous improvement in recruitment processes and outcomes.

Essential Functions
The following duties are fundamental to the position:
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of healthcare positions, including physicians, advanced practice providers and specialists
    • Build relationships with candidates and encourage strategic engagement activities (dinner, golf, etc) while in town for site tours. May include evening and weekend work.
    • Collaborate with leadership to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and prioritize hiring initiatives
    • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, licensure, and organizational fit
    • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship-building
    • Coordinate interviews, site visits, and selection processes with hiring teams
    • Extend and negotiate employment offers, including compensation and related terms
    • Ensure compliance with credentialing requirements, employment laws, and internal policies
    • Partner with HR, credentialing, and operations to support onboarding and orientation
    • Track and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Analyze recruitment metrics and make recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes
    • Support employer branding efforts, recruitment events, and community outreach
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior recruiters or recruiting team members
    • Stay current on healthcare workforce trends and labor market conditions
    • Attend provider focused job fairs and promote Peach Tree Health as a Great Place to Work certified employer
    • Collaborate with University Administration departments to build graduate pipeline from rotations to hiring

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience
  • Experience recruiting for licensed clinical roles
  • Understanding of Healthcare clinical roles and credentialing requirements
  • Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make sound hiring recommendations
  • Negotiation Skills: Effectively manage offers and candidate expectations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Motor Vehicle: Facilitate Site Tours and engage key contacts during evening/weekend functions, Attend Job Fairs which may be local or require travel

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office or hybrid work environment with extended computer use
  • Regular interaction with candidates, leadership, and external partners
  • May require extended hours, evenings, or weekends to meet recruitment deadlines or accommodate candidate schedules
  • Travel for site tours with candidates, job fairs, conferences, or recruitment events
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and traffic situations
  • Interaction with individuals who may have medical or mobility challenges

  • May require lifting and carrying light materials (e.g., files, laptops, recruitment materials) up to 15–20 pounds

  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed to meet recruitment demands
