Sunny Skies ABA is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Senior Healthcare Recruiter with proven experience recruiting within the ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and behavioral health industry. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and supporting onboarding efforts. The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully recruiting BCBAs, RBTs, Clinical Directors, and other healthcare professionals, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a recruiting-focused role requiring someone who is actively engaged in sourcing, outreach, candidate relationship management, and hiring manager partnership to ensure critical positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for ABA and healthcare positions, including BCBAs, RBTs, Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Directors, and administrative support roles.
- Proactively source, engage, and qualify candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, licensure, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities and provide market insights and recruiting strategies.
- Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, facilitate hiring decisions, and manage offer negotiations.
- Track recruiting activity, pipeline metrics, and hiring progress within ATS and HRIS platforms.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices within ABA and behavioral health recruiting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience required.
- Direct experience recruiting within the ABA, behavioral health, or autism services industry strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for positions such as BCBAs, RBTs, Clinical Directors, and other behavioral health professionals.
- Proven ability to independently source and attract passive candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
- Strong understanding of healthcare recruiting metrics, candidate pipelines, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Experience using ATS platforms such as Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Lever, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed-to-fill goals.
- Knowledge of employment laws, hiring compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices.
- Highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-state ABA or behavioral health organizations.
- Established network within the ABA community.
- Experience recruiting for both clinical and leadership-level positions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
