Senior Highway Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Highways Design Engineer with strong expertise in highway design and advanced Civil 3D capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed roadway designs for mega infrastructure projects in accordance with KSA and GCC standards.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

· 8–12 years of experience in highways design and infrastructure projects.

· Experience working in international environments is preferred.

· Experience in mega highway infrastructure projects is required.

· Strong expertise in delivering all highway‑related design/drawings across all stages, from concept design to IFC

Technical & Software Skills

· Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, Vehicle tracking, Auto CAD and other associated software related to Highway design.

· Strong experience in Subassembly Composer.

· Expertise in corridor modeling, cross-sections, and earthwork calculations.

· Knowledge of pavement design principles.

· Good working knowledge of KSA and GCC road design manuals and standards.

· BIM experience is an advantage.

· Strong skills on understanding road design concepts, detours, traffic guidance, traffic signs and pavement markings

Key Responsibilities

· Develop detailed 2D and 3D roadway models including horizontal and vertical alignments.

· Prepare corridor models, cross sections, and calculate earthwork quantities.

· Design road signage and pavement markings.

· Conduct site investigations and perform design calculations.

· Manage and supervise drafting activities.

· Coordinate with Design Engineers on all design-related tasks.

· Prepare technical reports, presentations, and tender documentation.
