Job Summary
The Senior Manager – Human Resources will lead and manage end-to-end HR functions across corporate and regional operations of the organization. The role focuses on talent acquisition, payroll and HR operations, performance management, employee engagement, policy governance, and HR best practices, aligned with global standards and business objectives in an MNC textile environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead strategic hiring for corporate, design, merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, sales, marketing, and leadership roles
- Drive workforce planning in alignment with business growth and expansion plans
- Manage employer branding initiatives and campus/leadership hiring programs
- Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs and succession planning
- Oversee recruitment vendors, executive search firms, and ATS platforms
2. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Manage compensation structures, incentives, variable pay, and benefits programs
- Benchmark compensation with industry standards and global practices
- Coordinate with finance and external payroll partners
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance across regions (as applicable)
3. Performance Management & Talent Development
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the Performance Management System (PMS)
- Drive goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and merit cycles
- Support leadership in talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential programs
- Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training interventions
4. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Drive engagement strategies to build a high-performance and inclusive culture
- Design and implement employee communication, recognition, and wellness programs
- Conduct employee surveys and translate insights into action plans
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations matters
5. HR Policies, Governance & Best Practices
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies aligned with global HR frameworks
- Ensure consistency in policy application across locations
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Drive adoption of ethical practices, DEI initiatives, and corporate values
6. HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, exits, documentation, and HRIS
- Ensure data accuracy, HR MIS, dashboards, and reporting for leadership
- Improve HR processes through automation and digital tools
- Manage audits, documentation, and internal HR controls
Desired Candidate ProfileEducation
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institute
Experience
- 7–15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in textile, apparel, fashion, or consumer-focused organizations
- Strong exposure to corporate HR, regional/global HR operations, and stakeholder management
