Senior HSE Engineer

Al Mutasel group is a leader in large-scale engineering and construction. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and rigorous Senior HSE Engineer to spearhead health, safety, and environmental excellence for a flagship mega-project. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader committed to maintaining a "Zero Harm" culture in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• HSE Management: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HSE Management Plans tailored to the project’s specific requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Conduct advanced Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and HIRA for high-risk operations.
• Site Inspections: Lead rigorous daily site audits to ensure 100% compliance with international and local safety regulations.
• Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for any near-misses or incidents and implement corrective action plans.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the client and regulatory bodies regarding HSE performance and reporting.
• Training & Mentorship: Deliver specialized safety inductions and technical workshops for site personnel and subcontractors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of proven field experience in mega-projects (Construction, Oil & Gas, or Infrastructure).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental).
• Certifications (Mandatory): Must hold NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30, or equivalent international safety certifications.
• Accreditation: Must be a Certified/Registered Engineer.
• Skills: Exceptional command of English (Technical Writing & Verbal); strong leadership presence; and mastery of HSE ISO standards (45001 & 14001).
