Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Total Garage Store is one of the largest garage door dealers in TN with 5 locations as well as a location in NC. We value integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction as the core of our business. This in-person position is located at Farmer Garage Door, located in Knoxville, TN.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team who will be responsible for overseeing and executing all core human resource functions for The Total Garage Store.

The Duties and Experience Requirements of this roll supports the full employee lifecycle and include:

• Leading and coordinating recruitment efforts.
• Managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administering employee benefits in partnership with insurance brokers, including enrollments, changes, audits & employee support.
• Serving as primary point of contact for employees inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, etc.
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws such as FMLA and OSHA.
• Working knowledge and administration of workers' compensation.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring proper documentation and file management.
• Maintaining HRIS systems accurate data management.
• Supporting employee engagement initiatives and acting as an accessible HR resource for employees at all levels.
• Collaborating with leadership on organizational design and succession planning.
• Working knowledge of Tennessee and North Carolina labor and employement practices.
• PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN A HUMAN RESOURCES ROLL WITH 3-5 YEARS' MINIUMUM EXPERIENCE.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience supporting, hourly, technician-based workforces strongly preferred.
• Ability to comply with all company policies, safety requirements and applicable regulations.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
