SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST, US OPERATIONS
The Senior HR Generalist, U.S. Operations will support a fast-paced global manufacturing organization by managing a broad range of human resources activities across the U.S. business. This role serves as a key HR partner to employees and leaders, helping drive a positive workplace culture, consistent HR practices, and effective day-to-day HR operations bringing strong HR fundamentals, sound judgment, a high level of ownership, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. This position is hands-on, and execution focused.

Partner with leaders and employees to improve engagement, communication, and employee experience.

Assist with employee recognition programs and other culture-building initiatives.

Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based positions, including workforce planning support, job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, candidate screening, and offer support.

Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and support effective hiring decisions.

Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation to ensure a smooth and professional onboarding experience.

Support onboarding process improvements to help new employees integrate successfully into the organization.

Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues.

Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, workplace expectations, and employee relations matters.

Assist with employee relations investigations, documentation, and recommended corrective actions when appropriate.

Help resolve workplace concerns in a fair, consistent, and professional manner.

Escalate complex or sensitive matters to leadership as appropriate.

Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Support employee data changes, reporting, personnel files, and HR documentation.

Assist with payroll-related inquiries and coordinate with payroll resources as needed.

Support time off, leave management, benefits administration, and employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes.

Help improve HR workflows, documentation, and administrative processes.

Assist with administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

Support open enrollment activities, employee communications, and benefit-related questions.

Assist with leave of absence administration, including documentation, employee communication, and coordination with applicable parties.

Ensure benefits and leave processes are handled accurately, confidentially, and consistently.

Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and HR regulations.

Assist with updating, communicating, and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Help ensure consistent application of company policies across the U.S. organization.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Support compliance-related reporting, documentation, and audits as needed.

Assist in identifying training needs across the organization.

Coordinate internal and external training programs as needed.

Support performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and career development planning.

Partner with managers to help reinforce accountability, communication, and employee development practices.

Support HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement surveys, onboarding and offboarding improvements, HRIS enhancements, and process standardization.

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to implement HR strategies that align with company objectives.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reduce manual work, and strengthen the employee experience.

Provide HR reporting and analysis as needed to support decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.

Strong working knowledge of HR principles, employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.

SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Experience with HRIS systems required, ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, and HR administration.

Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
