Role Description

Senior HVAC Design Engineer (Overseas)

Experience: 7–10 Years

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering team in Doha on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in HVAC system design and documentation across a variety of project types, including high-rise towers, villas, interior fit-outs, and modification works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop concept designs and detailed HVAC drawings in line with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Perform cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing using industry-recognized software.
• Design smoke management and containment systems in accordance with QCDD and NFPA standards.
• Prepare tender drawings, BOQs, and all necessary technical documentation for bidding and approval processes.
• Ensure all HVAC designs comply with QCDD regulations and other relevant local codes.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to deliver coordinated and integrated design packages.
• Provide technical support and guidance during project submissions and authority approval stages.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc. required).
• 7–10 years of proven HVAC design experience, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.
• Strong understanding of QCDD requirements and submission procedures.
• Experience working on towers, villas, and fit-out projects.
• Proven proficiency in designing smoke management systems.
