Senior Immigration Case Manager/Paralegal

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Immigration Paralegal / Senior Business Immigration analyst with specialized expertise in PERM Labor Certification and H-1B visa processing to join our employment-based and business-based immigration practice. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of direct experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage complex casework in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires strong familiarity with DOL and USCIS processes, along with demonstrated fluency in the latest legal tech tools, including Docketwise, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. The ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining quality work is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications.
  • Conduct thorough research on immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case files.
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and correspondence.
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Interview clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize Westlaw for legal research and case law analysis.
  • Provide administrative support within the law office as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in immigration law or related fields such as family law or business law.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools, particularly Westlaw.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Effective project management skills to oversee multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong interviewing skills to effectively communicate with clients and gather necessary information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
