SENIOR IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of immigration case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
  • Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with government agencies
  • Conduct detailed legal research across various areas including immigration law, family law, tribal law & regulations, and workers' compensation law
  • Assist attorneys with case strategy development by gathering relevant evidence, reviewing documents, and drafting legal correspondence
  • Utilize legal case management systems such as PCLaw, iManage, and document management systems to organize case materials efficiently
  • Interview clients to obtain necessary information for case preparation while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Support project management initiatives by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and ensuring timely submissions
  • Proofread and transcribe legal documents with precision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of removal defense immigration law and procedure
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case analysis and strategy development
  • Strong experience with legal administrative tasks including data entry, filing, document review, proofreading, transcription, and contract drafting
  • Skilled in using legal software platforms like Docketwise, Clio, Pipefile for efficient case management and document organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct client interviews effectively while maintaining professionalism through superior phone etiquette
  • Background in clerical experience within a law office setting combined with administrative support expertise in executive functions
  • Knowledge of tribal regulations related to tribal law & regulations along with comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and litigation procedures

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
